Adam
Adam has worked in business analysis and software development for over 18 years, involved in various industries from tourism to education and governance organizations. Developing software to handle financial transactions and ensuring these processes are secure has been an instrumental part of his experience.
Adam has a keen ability to relate to customers and understand the larger picture of their business. This gives him a great background to run the technology and provide technical insight for Soteria’s customers.
In his spare time, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife (Penny), cooking, hiking, and volunteering on the Board of Directors of his daughters’ swim club, UVIC Pacific Coast Swimming.
Darci
With more than 15 years experience in the financial crime field, Darci has led thousands of investigations and has worked with law enforcement agencies across North America. Her analytical skills enable her to uncover root causes and emerging trends, that allow her to craft and implement proactive, effective strategies that strengthen security, ensure compliance, and protect reputations.
Darci is also a skilled educator and leader, having managed projects and trained teams across the globe to identify, manage, and mitigate risks. Her practical approach and deep subject matter expertise-particularly in fraud and AML – have helped thousands of professionals elevate their capabilities and resilience in the face of growing threats.
In addition to her professional work, Darci serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for UVIC Pacific Coast Swimming, where she contributes her leadership and governance expertise to support youth athletics and community development. In her spare time she enjoys exploring Canada with her family and finding new ways to enjoy cheese.
Penny
With a proven track record in both project and business management, Penny is a natural fit as Director of Business Operations for Soteria. With over 15 years’ experience, across a range of industries including Tech and Financial Services, Penny is intimately aware of importance of anti-money laundering training and fraud education. She enjoys forging positive relationships with our customers, and has a clear vision to make Soteria’s services and products available for a wide range of industries.
In her spare time Penny enjoys spending time with her husband (Adam) and their two adrenaline-seeking daughters; she also loves travelling, cooking, hiking, and swimming in the ocean.
